The year 2020 has been a turbulent one – the global community has experienced challenges of both expected and unprecedented nature, but fortunately, the difficulties have given rise to new opportunities.
Considering the travel bans and limited global mobility, like many other companies and organizations, we have taken measures to modify our annual seminar into a virtual event, held on October 1, 2020. Our in-person event has been very exclusive, but this year we wish to grant access to our entire global audience.
The topic of this year’s event is “Digital Twins in Assistive and Autonomous System Development”.
Experts from world-class companies and universities will join us to present their current case studies and speak about the current status of development in the fields of Digital Twins, machine learning, and autonomous systems, including their control systems and certifications.
Although this seminar is first of its kind, our continued goal is to improve the event experience every year. Our speakers include experts from leading heavy machinery manufacturers like Liebherr, control system technology developers like Inter Control (DE), recognized certification organizations like TÜV SÜD (DE), and ranking technology-focused universities such as Loughborough University (UK), Lappeenranta University of Technology (FI), and the University of Jyväskylä (FI).
