Mevea Seminar 2018

Digital Twin meets Artificial Intelligence

The 5th annual Mevea Seminar will be held at Scandic Helsinki Aviacongress on October 4, 2018.

We are warmly welcoming you to experience the latest trends in Digital Twins and supporting technologies. Artificial Intelligence (AI), autonomous machines, 5G networks – they’re all coming. But the most important questions are when and how to use them in practice and what are their benefits for your business?

Examples of concrete Digital Twin use cases will be presented by Sandvik – “Digital Twin Supporting the Whole Product Lifecycle”, and Novatron – “Digital Twin and Automation”. Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT) will present the latest research on Digital Twin and measured data connection.

Silo AI, the largest private AI lab in the Nordics, VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and Etteplan will present how new technologies like AI, Machine Learning and 5G can be combined with Digital Twin for competitive advantage and concrete business benefits.

Digital Twin is also starting to replace the traditional training simulator approach and Kotka Maritime Centre will present their experiences of the next generation port crane training simulators.

By participating in this seminar, you will receive answers to some of the most essential questions around Digital Twin and its implementations, such as:

  • What is Digital Twin today and how are companies applying it in practice?
  • How can Digital Twin and AI work together and how can they help you?
  • Why and how to develop autonomous, intelligent machines with Digital Twin technology?
