Straddle Carrier

Train your operators to master container handling safely and efficiently with the Mevea Straddle Carrier Training Package — a simulator designed to accelerate skills development while reducing operational risks, training time, and associated costs.

Straddle Carrier Training Package

The Mevea Solution is tailored for container terminals conducting stacking and transport operations with a single machine. It supports both new and experienced operators by providing real-life scenarios, measurable performance metrics, and hands-on practice, ensuring faster learning and higher operational safety.

Mevea Straddle Carrier is a Digital Twin of the real machine, which is modelled using state of the art physics-based methods that enable accurate real-time simulation. The simulator operates in a dedicated port terminal environment and supports handling of 20-, 40-, and 45-foot containers using single or twin-lift spreaders. Training exercises cover container movement between stacks, STS cranes, and parked trucks, providing a comprehensive, realistic, and risk-free learning experience.
