Tero Koskipalo

M.Sc. (Tech.)

Managing Director

Tero is one of the founding members of Mevea and has been the Managing Director of the company since its establishment in 2005.

Tero started his career in real-time simulation of hydraulics as a researcher at the Lappeenranta University of Technology and has since accumulated substantial knowledge of the practical applications of simulation and Digital Twins.

Tero holds an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Lappeenranta University of Technology.

Raimo Nikkilä​

Director, Sales, Marketing and Business Development

Since joining the team in 2013, Raimo has been responsible for the sales, marketing and business development activities at Mevea. With his 25 years of experience in senior sales and marketing roles at IBM and Dassault Systemes, Raimo has gained a deep understanding on how digital twins can help companies accelerate digital transformation and create new business models.

Raimo holds an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Helsinki University of Technology.

Pasi Korkealaakso

D.Sc. (Tech.)

Technical Director

In addition to being one of the co-founders of Mevea, Pasi is leading the company’s technical and product development teams. He has accumulated over 15 years of experience in research and software development in the topics of real-time simulation.

With his technical and scientific knowledge, Pasi leads the development of multibody simulation algorithms and Mevea´s software suite based on our customers’ needs.

Pasi received his Ph.D. from Lappeenranta University of Technology in 2009.

Asko Rouvinen

D.Sc. (Tech.)

Senior Technical Advisor

Asko is one of the Mevea co-founders and as a Senior Technical Advisor works closely with our customers to translate business requirements to digital twin based solutions. His key skills include real-time simulation of multibody systems and hydraulics as well as modelling of complex mechatronic systems.

Asko has a background in science and academia with 20 years of experience in various research fields of multibody systems.

Asko received his Ph.D. in 1999 from Lappeenranta University of Technology and has acted as an adjunct professor since 2002.

Vesa Ahola

M.Sc. (Tech.)

Director, Customer Projects

Vesa works in close contact with our customers to ensure their success and make sure that each phase of the projects proceeds as planned. Vesa has over 17 years of experience in various software engineering, project and development management positions in the IT industry.

Vesa holds an M.Sc. in Information Technology from Lappeenranta University of Technology.
