About the Position

Every year hundreds of millions of sea containers carrying many of the things we are using in our daily life are transported between countries by some of the largest vessels in the world. Loading, unloading and handling these containers in the ports require tens of thousands of professional equipment operators round the world. The way these operators are trained, and their skills maintained in the future is changing due to intelligent machines and increasing automation.

Mevea is one the leading companies in the world driving this change by providing advanced operator training simulators to major terminal operators and equipment manufacturers.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Sales Manager / Sales Executive you will manage the sales process from identifying an opportunity to closing the deal and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be working directly with end customers or supporting our Partners to close the deal with the end customer. Our customers are terminal operators, training institutions and major equipment manufacturers round the world. Identifying new business opportunities and providing customer insight is an important dimension of your role.

Are You the Hungry and Customer-Oriented International Salesperson We Are Looking For?

We are seeking a salesperson who enjoys solving customer problems and who thrives in an international environment with big players. The role requires excellent presentation skills, natural networking abilities and ability to manage multiple sales cases simultaneously. You have an attitude, ambition and desire to succeed in international sales.

The ideal candidate would have bachelor’s or master’s degree, some years of experience working with container logistics, port operations, cargo ship operations or port equipment sales. The job is international and requires fluent English language skills. Other language skills like Spanish are plus. Role requires international travel roughly one week / month. The position is located in Vantaa at Technopolis Aviapolis.
