TOC Europe 2025: Unveiling Mevea’s Latest Innovations in Simulator Training

Mevea Pro Crane Simulator in the middle of training exercise.

Mevea exhibits the latest developments in its training and simulation solutions for cabin-operated and remotely operated cranes in TOC Europe 2025, at Stand G46. This year’s focus is on delivering greater flexibility and actionable insights for both trainers and trainees—reinforcing Mevea’s position as a trusted provider of advanced training systems powered by physics-based digital twins.

TOC Europe 2025 takes place from June 17–19 at the Ahoy Convention Centre in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

New Features in Mevea Training Solutions

Extensive Report System in Mevea Training Software

A new key feature this year is Mevea’s enhanced Report System. After completing an exercise, operators automatically receive detailed performance reports. These reports are now tailored to different stakeholders—whether it’s the operator, instructor, terminal manager, or HR department—each receives the relevant insights needed to support their objectives, from individual progress tracking to team-wide performance benchmarks.
This development supports more efficient training, better decision-making, and long-term skills development.

Showcased Solutions at TOC Europe 2025

Instructor Tablet for More Versatile Training Supervision and Trainee Feedback

Mevea Training Software, traditionally managed from the Instructor Station, can now also be operated via the new Instructor Tablet. This addition gives instructors greater mobility and flexibility, allowing them to access simulation data and reports in real time—whether they’re in a meeting room, next to the operator, or at their own desk. This innovation supports more agile and adaptive training environments.

Mevea Pro Simulator Platform with Training Packages for Cranes and Mobile Equipment

Mevea will once again showcase its flagship Pro Simulator Platform, designed for high-fidelity, physics-based operator training. The platform includes a professional operator seat mounted on a motion platform, a multi-display setup, and fully customisable operator controls.

Mevea training packages are available for a wide range of port equipment, and the system can be tailored to replicate your specific operational requirements.

Mevea Remote Operation Station (ROS) with Training Packages for Remote-Operated Cranes

The ROS solution, which can be fully integrated with your crane automation provider’s control software or tailored to mimic your ROS UI, offers a realistic and immersive training environment for remote crane operations. It allows training centres and port operators to prepare their workforce for the growing shift toward remote and automated crane control.

Mevea Desktop with VR Headset and Training Package for Ship Pedestal Crane

For compact training environments, Mevea offers the Desktop setup, which will be demonstrated at TOC with the Ship Pedestal Crane Training Package.

Despite its smaller footprint, the platform delivers the same high level of physics-based realism found in all Mevea simulators—ensuring meaningful, effective operator training without compromise.
